This collection was inspired by the bold character of a natural stone slab. As part of my experimental process, I also tried my hand at fluid painting, which is more commonly known as ‘marbling’. However, my version of fluid painting is different in the sense of the surface to the method in which I pour the acrylic paints. The layers hold a lot of influence over the movement of the paint as it flows down onto my matboard, allowing me to achieve a supremely unique design.
